The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for a ZnS Dome. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. CLIN 0001: 3 EA, ZnS Dome

Requirement: 3, ZnS domes. Quoted price should include FOB Destination.
The minimum technical requirements needed are:
• Inner Diameter: 5 inches
• Thickness: 0.20 inches
• Hemispherical Extent: 140 degree clear aperture bevel at edge for ring mount: 0.50 inches
• Inner and Outer Radius Surface Irregularity: 1 fringe over any 2.0 inches diameter at 633nm
• Surface Finish: 80-50 scratch/dig per IAW MIL-PRF-13830
CLIN 0002: 3 EA, Coating
Requirement: 3, Coating above dome both faces AR for 7.5 - 13.5 microns, 5% +/- 3 transmission variability over aperture. Outside coating will meet durability requirements of IAW MIL-C-675C.
