The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for a ZnS Dome. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), the announcement number is F1TBAR0089A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.

CLIN 0001: 3 EA, ZnS Dome

Requirement: 3, ZnS domes. Quoted price should include FOB Destination.
The minimum technical requirements needed are:
• Inner Diameter: 5 inches
• Thickness: 0.20 inches
• Hemispherical Extent: 140 degree clear aperture bevel at edge for ring mount: 0.50 inches
• Inner and Outer Radius Surface Irregularity: 1 fringe over any 2.0 inches diameter at 633nm
• Surface Finish: 80-50 scratch/dig per IAW MIL-PRF-13830
CLIN 0002: 3 EA, Coating
Requirement: 3, Coating above dome both faces AR for 7.5 - 13.5 microns, 5% +/- 3 transmission variability over aperture. Outside coating will meet durability requirements of IAW MIL-C-675C.
