The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a purchase order to Caliper Life Sciences, Inc. The authority for this sole source is FAR Part 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide a Zephyr SPE with 12 position deck, 96 channel HV-Head, disposable tips, 1-200uL volume range, 100-120 VACS, left mounted Servo Gripper and Vacuum Filtration manifold with clog detector and snorkel fitting. Includes laptop controller, Maestro Software and air regulator. Installation and Training. This liquid handler can detect clogs during solid phase extraction, which can be completed in less than two minutes between each extraction step. Will transfer liquid volumes between 5 and 200 micro liters per transfer. Warranty for one year and on-site support during the warranty period with less than 48 hour response. Only one award will be made. This is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation is not available. Firms that believe they can provide these services/supplies are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notice to the Contract Specialist prior to the response date found. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and are solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government.
