This sources sought is being conducted to identify potential Small Manufactures capable of producing Carl Zeiss Brand Name Or Equal Endo Microscope Equipment as follows:.

NOMENCLATURE OF EQUIPMENT
Operates under normal room temperature. The Dental Squadron will be gaining a Endodontist and the PROergo surgical operating microscope is integral to the standard of endodontic care. The microscope allows for the illumination and magnification of structures too small to be seen without this level of magnification.

1 Float magnetic system which allows effortless positioning of the B28, and also makes it more stable during use
2 -Motorized zoom
3 -Motorized autofocus (SpeedFocus)
4 -Xenon illumination system
5 -Ability to be wall or ceiling mounted

7 12.5 x eyepieces with reticle
8 -Require to have 220 volt capability for European specifications.

Information is being collected from Small Manufactures at this time to determine if this requirement can be met using a small business set-aside. All respondents are required to certify if they currently meet the small business requirements under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339114, as of the date of their submittal.

CAPABILITY STATEMENT - Any potential Manufacturer must demonstrate the following:

1) The offeror shall submit a technical description or product literature for the system/equipment(s) it is proposing. Capability Statement(s) should clearly identify the following:

a. Name of the Manufacturer, make, model, quantity and location where the units are produced (domestic and/or international);
b. A signed statement to state, "We are the Manufacturer of the equipment.";
c. Percentage of the work performed by either the Large and/or Small Business Manufacturer;
d. Name of company(ies) that are authorized to sell the system components, their addresses, and POC for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address);
e. Estimated Number of days, after receipt of order that is typical for delivery of such system(s);
f. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications and finalizing its market research.

2) Provide the following business information:

a. DUNS number
b. Company Name
c. Company Address (including point of contact, phone number and email address)
d. Type/Size of company, NAICS code as validated in SAMS.

Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this synposis. Responses must be submitted not later than Jan 11, 2013 1:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time via e-mail to the point of contact listed below.
