This is a Sources Sought Notice for Architect/Engineering services to Modernize Interior Finishes for Buildings 146 and 148 at the Hampton VAMC campus. Please respond if you have the ability and intent to complete this requirement. Include in your response a copy of your capabilities statement.
This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses.
The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 541310.
This is not a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed at this time.
The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice.
This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
Minimum needs of the Government are as follows:
SERVICES REQUIRED:
The A/E shall provide design services for NRM construction project 590-20-109. The project shall modernize and upgrade the finishes for Buildings 146 and 148 (all pods). The design shall include site investigations, environmental survey of the space and provide drawings, specifications and a third-party cost estimate.

Construction period services
Air monitoring during abatement/remediation
Submission review with recommendations and approvals (e.g., change proposals, Requests for Clarification, product submittals, shop drawings, tests)
Update drawings as-built conditions from contractor record drawings, VA correspondence during construction
A/E will respond either by phone, email, or on-site within a two-hour period when requested.

Final Inspection
Conduct Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) in conjunction with VA Safety/Infection Control staff
