The project spec calls for cellular glass insulation in chiller rooms. Cellular glass is more labor-intensive, more costly, and has a longer lead time. Given that the existing pipe is insulated with fiberglass pipe covering would fiberglass be an acceptable material for this project? A: Please refer to the project specs as indicated in the solicitation. RFI #9 Q: Who is the fire alarm vendor? A: Any Contractor can be if they have the Notifier Training and current Licensing certificates to practice. RFI #10 Q: Are the existing controls remaining for the new equipment, or are new controls required? A: Require New Direct Digital Controls with Automated Logic. RFI #11 Q: Is there a noise limitation that must be adhered to during first shift work, or is second shift required? Can we core drill during normal hours? A: High-noise activities, like core drilling, shall be limited to when the adjacent Primary Care unit is not seeing patients, thus outside of Monday-Friday 0700-1600.
