Modified to correct bid due date.The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to waterproof approximately 21,726 square feet of roof system of buildings #?s 1, 2, 4, and 9 . The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision to apply a coating of ?pure? polyurea to each roof system. The contractor shall be responsible for surface preparation, which shall be inclusive of roof rock removal and disposal. The work shall be performed at the USDA, ARS, located at Starkville, MS. ?This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P)? An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about June 11, 2007 with all bids being due at 2:00 p.m. July 12, 2007.
