This project is to provide fuel removal and site restoration to the Tumon Fuel Farm Pipeline area located north of the Micronesian Mall between Route 3 and the road to Two Lover's Point. The work consists of the following: 1) Cutting of the vegetation under and along the dual 8 inch above ground pipelines, 2) Draining and disposing of the fuel and sludge from the pipelines, 3) Sampling and analyzing of contaminated soil from 2 locations along the pipeline to determine extent of contamination and then removal and disposal of the contaminated soil to include site restoration and, 4) Cutting and removal of the pipelines. Performance period is 120 calendar days with working commencing on 08 February 2006.
