USDA, Forest Service, Ohio River Basin Procurement Cluster has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, services, material and equipment necessary to perform dam mowing and hand brushing services on the Hoosier National Forest. The government intends to award at least one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIA) contract. The contract term will be base year plus four option years. The work will include mowing of vegetation on the faces for the dam, from the water line, across the dam top and also includes mowing the dam spillways. Hand brushing may be required for trees, shrubs and other large woody material on the dam face and spillway. Project location: Dams are located in Perry and Crawford counties on Tell City Ranger District. Estimated cost is between $12 and 100K. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Service wage rates. A small business set-aside solicitation will be issued.
