The work consists of removing the existing instream material and replacing it with an engineered fill that is to be compacted in place. All work is to be completed within the confines of the existing bottomless multi-plate arch measuring 20' wide, 8'3" tall at the centerline and approximately 135' long. The existing material is approximately 1.5' - 2.0' deep throughout. The finished product will be a uniform 1.0' thick throughout with a definite low water channel down the middle Work is to be completed in a dry stream bed, thus requiring a bypass channel or stream blocking and pumping to accomplish the work. Minimal instream work will be authorized and no removal or placement of material shall de bone within the live stream channel. Currently the stream is flowing 2.0' deep at a width of 20.0' and stream flows are projected to increase significantly with winter rain and snow. NAICS Code is 237310.
