This Request for Proposal solicitation is restricted to HubZone small business concerns. The Tongass National Forest intends to acquire by contract services for general road maintenance: surface maintenance; culvert removals and replacement; culvert and ditch cleaning; water-bar installation; and roadside brushing. These services will be for the South Tongass Roads Maintenance contract inclusive of the administrative boundaries of the Thorne Bay, Craig and Ketchikan Misty Ranger Districts only.<><> The Government may make, from two to six, awards of an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contracts. Offers will be evaluated on: price; experience; past performance. Awards will be to the offerors, conforming to the solicitation, that are the best value to the Government. The performance period is from date of award to September 30, 2008. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about February 16, 2007 for viewing and printing.
