This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This is a solicitation notice for Nacimiento/Silo Road widening project. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to provide services for the preservation/rehabilitation, re-alignment and widening of Nacimiento / Silo Road. The proposed project length is approximately two and a half (2 miles) on Government-owned land at Ft Hunter Liggett, Jolon, CA 93928. The project shall generally consist of the following, but not limited to: culvert installation, culvert rehabilitation, headwall installation per Caltrans standards, including invert repair or installing piper-liner system and or culvert replacement. All work should be done in accordance with the SOW included in the attachements. The Statement of Work has been attached separate from the solicitation attachment due to the size. The SOW is dated May 25th 2011 and is 142 pages in length. All work performed should meet at a minimum, the applicable federal, state, local regulations and codes, to include any DOD or Army regulations that applies. The period of performance will be 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated monetary cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code , SIC code and size standard for this procurement are 237310/1611 33.5 Million. Pursuant to FAR 19.1308(a), this acquisition is set aside for competition restricted to HUBZONE small business. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit bids. Only one award shall be made. To be eligible for award, bidders must have a current, valid registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package, which is numbered W9124N11B0008A.
