The government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole-source contract to SBH, LLC, on or about 22 Sep 2010 for furniture anchoring services on the facility. Contractor will remove the existing furniture in the room and relocate it to an identified storage area on the VA grounds. Prior to new furniture installation, the VA will clean, strip and re-polish the existing flooring. The contractor will then install and secure the new bed and desk to the floor and secure the open shelving to the wall. Furniture location will be identified by the VA SNU staff. All furniture will be secured using Powers brand double ¼" mcm floor anchors and Fastenal #27 Torx security bit screws or approved equals. Work is to be completed in and around active patient areas. All tools and equipment must remain secured and the contractor will need to coordinate their work schedule with the VA staff on a daily basis. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 60 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction range is between .
