Project Description:  Project work consists of dredging beach compatible sand from Canaveral Shoals II (CSII) and transporting the excavated material to the base and optional placement areas shown on the plans. CSII is located east of Cape Canaveral, and is centered approximately 4.5 miles offshore of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and 8 miles east of Port Canaveral. CSII is approximately 1,233 acres with existing depths ranging from -11 to -42 feet referencing Mean Low Water (MLW). Incidental work at the placement area includes beach tilling, turbidity monitoring, vibration control monitoring, bird monitoring, sea turtle trawler and sweeping, and endangered species monitoring.  The solicitation will consist of a Base and Option A and Option B. 

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: 

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 03 August 2020 and bids will be due on or about 04 September 2020. 

NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30 million. 

Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
