This project consists of the removal of existing roofing and the new installation of completely weatherproof metal roof systems for up to six buildings. The roof systems shall be as herein specified. The work shall include but not be limited to: removing existing metal roof systems, gutters and downspouts; installing plywood sheathing (WV Engine garage only), installing felt paper, installing the metal roof system and metal ridge/rake/eave flashings; installing gutters and downspouts as needed; flashing and sealing all roof penetrations and all other work necessary for complete and weather tight roof systems as specified herein. PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the Weaverville Ranger Station Compound on Highway 299 in Weaverville, Trinity County, California. ESTIMATED START WORK DATE: Work is estimated to begin between the latter part of July and early August, 2007. CONTRACT TIME: Base Bid: 119 calendar days; Options: materials lead time 6 weeks, plus 3 weeks per building. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. BONDING IS REQUIRED.
