This contract is for the reclamation of the Roscoe Young Landslide emergency project located in Rush, Carter County, KY. The work under this contract will consist of: the existing gabion wall will be extended out to buttress the remaining unstable area. Rock backfill and a sub-drain will be placed as well. All disturbed areas will be revegetated. The estimated cost range is $60,000.00-$80,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET: at the Marathon Gas Station located off Route 60 West near the intersection of US Route 64, in Carter County, KY. Take I-64 West/East to Exit 181. At end of ramp turn right onto Route 60 West. Go less than a 0.1 mile and the gas station is on the right. Bids will be opened on 7/12/10 @ 3:30 PM.
