Roadside Brushing. The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract roadside brushing for the Hood Canal and Pacific Ranger Districts. The estimated annual quantity is 62 miles.
The government will proceed to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation restricted to small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on: price; experience; past performance; key personnel and subcontractors; proposed equipment; price realism; and Level of Confidence Assessment Rating (LOCAR). Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. This solicitation will result in a fixed-price contract for one year, with two (2) one-year options. The contract performance period is from April 01, 2007, to March 31, 2008.
Service Contract Act wage rates will apply to any contract resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation will be available on, or about, JAN 31, 2007. Offers are due on MAR. 05, 2007.
