The USDA Forest Service has a project consisting of routine and reoccurring maintenance of forest roads on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract(s)with up to four contract awards, one for each bid item. Roads to be maintained will be designated by delivery orders throughout the time period for each contract. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 18, 2004. Estimated start work date is approx May 1, 2004 with contract time to be approx 7 months. The solicitation will be set-aside for HUBzone firms with the stipulation that if no HUBzone firms bid or all HUBzone firms' bids are more than 20 percent above the Government's estimate, then non-HUBzone firms' bids will be considered for award, utilizing FAR Part 12, Commercial Itmes and FAR Part 13, Simplilfied Acquisition procedures.
