Description of Work: Reroof two structures approximately 5400 Square Foot total.4000 sq. feet at SierravilleDistrict Office, the barracks,1400 sq. foot at the Carvin Cabin near Bassetts on Highway 49. Project Location: The Barracks Project is located at the Sierraville Ranger station. The site can be accessed by taking Highway 89 North from Truckee for 23.5 miles to the Forest Service compound. The barracks will be marked as building Number 1033. Carvin Cabin is on highway 49 West. From the intersection in Sierraville turn West on highway 49/89 and head towards Sierra City. 5 miles out of town highway 89 turns North, stay on highway 49. Travel 16 miles from Sierraville, look for a propane tank, right side, about 30 feet off the highway, there are two buildings a garage and the house. The cabin is about ½ mi. past the Carvin Creek Home Track. If you go to far, turn around at Bassetts Station and head East for 1.5 mi. Estimated Solicitation issue date 07/12/06.
