Furnish all material, labor, equipment and transportation necessary to conduct repairs to the Molokai Lighthouse, Kalaupapa Peninsula, Island of Molokai, Hawaii. The work includes reglazing all lighthouse lantern storm panes and lantern door, replacement of 4 glass panes, service and repair the lantern door, and remove and dispose of existing lead-containing paint and repaint the lantern sash and door. Kalaupapa is geographically isolated from the rest of Molokai. Access to the generally available only by limited daily scheduled commuter or charter small plane service. Car rental is not available at the site. Kalaupapa Settlement and the entire pensinsula is located within the Kalaupapa National Historical Park which is jointly managed by the National Park Service and the Hawaii State Department of Health. Kalaupapa was formerly a Hansen's Disease settlement and currently is still home to many treated patients. Offers will be evaluated on price, past performance, and qualifications of key personnel. The period of performance is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
