The Department of the Interior (DOI) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for construction services for renovations, in accordance with the attached Drafted Work Statement and attached Construction Documents, to the National Wildlife Research Center (NWHC) at 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison, WI 53711. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220 Commercial & Institutional Building Construction; with a Small Business Size of $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated construction price is (f) Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
