NOTE: This procurement action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to renovate existing vacated office space in a one-story building into new office space. Address of the site is: General Services Administration (GSA) Government Center, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Construction renovation shall include, but is not limited to, the architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection work. The primary elements of the building include a vehicle ramp, vehicle open bay area, and toilet facilities. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $400,000. Detailed requirements and specifications are included in the Solicitation. Release date for the Solicitation is scheduled for May 29, 2002. The Solicitation shall be available by mail request only at a cost of $250.00 per set, with a limit of two (2) sets per requesting firm. Firms wishing to reserve a copy of the Solicitation may do so by sending a copy of their deposit instrument, by facsimile, to the FBI, Attention: Mr. Jan H. Brown, Room 10254, J. Edgar Hoover (JEH) FBI Building, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20535. Hard copy of deposit instrument shall be remitted to the foregoing address. Deposit is fully refundable upon return of the complete Solicitation to the FBI within 15 calendar days following Bid Opening. The Solicitation shall be available on a first-come-first-serve basis until supply is exhausted. A Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2002 at 2:00 PM (Local Time) at the GSA Government Center, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
