This is a notice of intent to award on a sole source basis to UGI Utilities Inc of Harrisburg, PA to remove existing UGI owned master natural gas meter at Building 301 and provide a new UGI owned gas meter and regulator at Building 300 at Carlisle Ba rracks. This procurement will be processed as other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is neither a Request for Quotations nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by August 24, 2007. If no affirmative wri tten responses are received by the due date indicating that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with UGI UTilities Inc for the requirement stated above.
