SYNOPSIS: The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials for provision of a Perimeter Lighting System to the site and buildings at US Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Colfax, LA. Essentially the work includes the following general scope. Provide new site exterior lighting system to illuminate the entrance road to the station and area lighting of the ATON storage area and the Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Building all as indicated on the drawings.Provide a new 1W1-1/4? (1 way 1-1/4?) duct-bank installation with 208Volt single phase wiring to feed the entrance road lighting fixtures. Lighting poles shall be Direct Set Concrete as detailed on the drawings. Replace two existing exterior mounted Compact Fluorescent light fixtures with HID HPS Wall Pack Marine Grade Lighting fixtures. Provide an exterior lighting control system consisting basically of a mechanically held lighting contactor with a two wire pilot relay, controlled by a hand-off-automatic selector switch. In the ?Auto? position the lights are controlled by a single photoelectric controller, all as detailed on the drawings. The performance period is ninety (90) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quoter. The anticipated award date is February 25, 2002.
