The proposed procurement is for furnishing equipment, labor and materials for paving of the Elk Creek Campground Loop D. This work includes final compaction and grading of existing aggregate base material, installation of drainage structures, and installation of asphalt concrete pavement. Project is located within Curecanti National Recreation Area, 15 miles west of Gunnison, CO. All work to be performed under a single contract. Work to be completed within 45 calendar days. Solicitation package will be available on or about May 2, 2003. Interested bidders may request a bid package by FAX 970-641-3127. The solicitation will be issued by paper copies and delivered by US mail. It is anticipated the Government will award a firm fixed price contract to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
