The Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal for Middle Falls Chipseal. Work for this contract consists of reshaping existing roadway and double chipsealing 3.61 miles of road (164 tons oil and 1095 tons of chips). There is also 6.02 miles of fog seal with 63,571 linear feet of striping. The project is located on the Shasta-McCloud Management Unit of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Contract time is 30 days with an estimated start work date of May 15, 2003. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value of the Government.
