Construction services related to abatement of coal mining related emergencies, including landslides, refuse fires, mine fires, mine drainage, mine subsidence, and hazardous shafts and openings. Emergency projects are primarily in KY and PA with a limited number in GA, MD, MI, and TN. Work involves backfillng, excavation and grading, construction of gabions and steel piling walls, installation of rip rap channels, drilling and grouting, excavation and quenching of burning refuse materialand the installation of drainage systems.
