This contract is for the reclamation of the Jamie Newman Landslide emergency project located in McDowell, Floyd County, KY. The work under this contract will consist of: 1) mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor, equipment and materials; 2) site preparation; 3) excavation of landslide material; 4) construction of mine seals/drains; 5) construction of drainage channels; 6) placement of steel rails with guardrail; 70 installation of road culverts; and 8) revegetation of all disturbed areas.

Bids will be opened on September 28, 2009. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with Section K Reps and Certs and completed AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on September 28, 2009 @ 1:00 pm. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted.
Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov. Award will not be made to a contractor who has not satisfied these requirements.
