Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and any other items necessary to clear (Hydroax) approximately 9.5 acres of land on Eielson AFB, AK.Contractor shall remove all trees from the specified sites and dispose of the trees (except as indicated below) or chip/pulverize all trees on site. All other vegetation that can be hydroaxed shall be mulched and pulverized and left on site. Contractor shall ensure mulched and pulverized vegetation (includes any trees that the contractor has pulverized) has been leveled. Contractor shall save all white spruce and birch over 8 inches in diameter. Contractor shall cut them into 10' lengths, and stack them at an accessible location at each site. Areas to be cleared are broken out into the following increments: 3.07 Acres; .73 Acres; .19 Acres; 3.21 Acres; 1.17 Acres; 1.14 Acres; and an approximately 1 acre/20 foot strip on each side of the tracks, on West/Northwest side of Spruce Lake. Strip to be measured from the edge of the track. The request for quotation number is FA5004-04-T-0032 and can be can be downloaded at www.fedbizopps.gov.
