Pre-Solicitation Synopsis

The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, Hungry Horse Dam ¿ Columbia Basin Project, Montana has a requirement for the replacement of the West Generator Room window units above the transformer deck including concrete repair; replacement of expansion joint filler in the West and East Generator Room concrete walls; materials to be removed include, but are not limited to, window units including frames and structural mullions, and expansion joint filler. Work is located approximately 4 miles south of Hungry Horse, or 20 miles Northeast of Kalispell, Montana in Flathead County.

This requirement will be advertised as a firm-fixed price, invitation for bid in accordance with FAR Part 14 procedures. The contract shall be administered as a construction contract in accordance with FAR Part 36.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 238150 Glass and Glazing Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside.

The anticipated order of magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible Small Business concerns. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM).

Contractors shall note that this solicitation (written) is anticipated to be issued in the month of August 2021.
