Priest Lake Ranger District, Bonner County, Idaho.The Dusty Roads Storage includes treating segments of existing roads by deep ripping, partial and full recontouring of the original roadbed, removing and disposing of existing culverts, removal of ditch relief culverts and restoring stream channels, including the installation of temporary straw sediment basins and permanent gradient control structures. Also included is the construction of waterbars, and earthen barriers and seeding & fertilizing with mulch. Channel restoration will involve removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossing sites and returning these sites to their natural state.
A total of 4 roads are planned for treatment.
Base Item: Road 1373 back to the junction with Road 1373A. Optional Items: Completing 1373 from the junction with 1373A back to Packer Creek ,Roads 1341B and 1376A would be awarded based on any additional funding, in that order.
