Any contaminated soil will be trasnported to a designated location provided by the Governmenet. Contractor's may pick up a copy of a drawing of the tanks at the Contracting Office. Contractor's are asked to submit a general proposal for this project by indicating their price in a range. For example: 25,000 to 35, 000 Euro. ******The 65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, is conducting market research to seek qualified sources capable of executing the following project requirement: Demolish five above ground storage tanks, including the tank bottom, and all above ground piping. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all debris in accordance with applicable regulations. All demolition should properly dispose of any asbestos, lead based paint or contaminated soil that is discovered in the demolition footprint. Option: Demolish the containment dike and all underground piping to the main pipeline. At the main line the pipe will be cut and capped.
