The USDA Forest Service ? Gifford Pinchot National Forest is soliciting prospective contractors for road maintenance on the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District. This project is partially funded under Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act, involving special projects on Federal lands approved through the Lewis County Resource Advisory Committee. Project work consists of: roadside brushing; danger tree removal; road surface & shoulder maintenance; culvert cleaning; ditch cleaning; and possibly water bar and cross ditch installation. The contract issued as a result of this solicitation will be an Indefinite Quantity, indefinite Delivery (IDIQ), performance based service contract. Minimum contract amount is $50,000.00. Maximum contract amount is $400,000.00. The period for issuance of task orders will be from date of contract award through September 30, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 115310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is April 24, 2007.
