The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Southern Plains Area, has a project for correcting basement water/infiltration erosion problems at the Southern Plains Agricultural Research Center in College Station, Texas. The work includes but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to constructing a concrete perimeter wall beneath bldg. 7 as shown on the plans, construction of an airway to vent the crawl space beneath bldg. 7 including the installation of ventilation fans, the enclosure of piping penetrations into the building with future spare openings provided as called for, the installation of two drain boxes outside bldg. 7 and the routing of all required piping to the existing storm drain. Exterior gas lines routed near the perimeter of the building will be re-routed so as not to be encased in the new concrete perimeter beam. All work to be in accordancw the specifications and drawings. Estimated price range is less than $100,000. The period of performance is 120 calander days.
