United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area has a project entitled Manure Pumping Station at the USDA-ARS US Dairy Forage Research Center in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. The work includes but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work for a new pumping center to pump liquid effluent from an existing lagoon to a new receiving tank approximately 2600 feet from the existing lagoon, a new effluent transportation pipeline, approximately 120 feet of steel casing across a Wisconsin Department of Transportation right-of-way, a new concrete effluent reception tank of approximately 94,000 gallons (40' diameter X 10' deep), a offloading pumping station, a offloading drive-by lane, electrical service to the new pumping systems, electrical service to two existing bunkers, and control wiring from the primary pumping station to the offloading pumping station. The period of performance is 120 days. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. Bonding will be required. Estimated price range is: Between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition will be procured as a full and open competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
