Clam Lake Multi-Purpose Dam Spillway Repair--
The proposed work is to restore the function of the principal spillway at the Clam Lake Multi-Purpose Dam Site by repairing the concrete riser, conduit, and inlet headwall. The major items of work include: patching cracks and spalls in the concrete riser and conduit, replacing the pond drain inlet structure, and seeding. The magnitude of work is estimated to be between $ 25,000 and $ 100,000. The dam site is located in the town of Sandisfield, MA, Berkshire County. The NAIC code corresponding to this work is 238110, with a small business standard of $ 12 million dollars annually. The drawings, specs, and statement of work will be posted on or about August 12, 2005. The period of performance is estimated to be 57 calendar days. A site visit has been scheduled for August 9, 2005 at 10:00 am. at the Sandisfield Library and Community Center, Sandisfield, MA. (approximately 1 mile west of the intersection of Rte 57 and Rte 8, south side of Route 57).
