Clam Lake Multi-Purpose Dam Emergency Spillway Maintenance Sediment ExcavationThe proposed work is to restore the function of the emergency spillway at the Clam Lake Multi-Purpose Dam Site in Sandisfield, MA, Berkshire County. The major items of work include excavating approximately 1400 CY of sediment in the emergency spillway, excavating 525 CY to construct a ditch along the toe of the cut slope in the emergency spillway, and seeding. A site visit will take place on the August 25th, 2003 at 10 am.
The Request for Quote will be posted on or around August 21, 2003 and will provide further information on the project and the site visit. The magnitude of work is estimated to be between $ 25,000 and $ 100,000. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to this work.
