The work for this project includes removal and disposal of an existing six foot diameter CMP and related road fill, and construction of a new 140 foot span, single-lane, prestressed concrete bridge supported on driven H-pile abutments. Work also includes reconstruction of a new stream channel which simulates the natural upstream channel. This project is located on the South Zone of the Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Technical and price proposals are due by close of business on June 14, 2004. The successful contractor shall also be required to submit performance and payment bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. Contract time is 490 calendar days. Estimated start work date is July 8, 2004. The solicitation packet will be posted in FedBizOpps on or about May 14, 2004.
