The Forest Service requires the drilling of a new drinking water well, installation of a new hand pump, and replacement of the old unreliable spring system. The project is located on the Salmon/Cobalt Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The performance period will be 30 calendar days. Work is estimated to start October 1, 2004. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, September 16, 2004. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately August 17, 2004, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
