The Forest Service requires lead based paint abatement at the Warehouse located on the Ashton Ranger District, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Fremont County, Idaho. The project consists of, but is not limited to: removing all accessible exterior lead paint by chemical or heat methods, perimeter around building will be cleaned to remove fallen paint debris, and after abatement the warehouse will be encapsulated with a primer coat applied by spraying or rolling. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The performance period will be 45 calendar days. Work is estimated to start April 12, 2004. Quotes are due April 7, 2004. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 2, 2004, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
