The work on this project will consist of restoring wetlands on two adjoining sites in Winnebago County. Work will consist of constructing low dikes, plugging subsurface drains, performing tile investigations, installing corrugated polyethylene tubing, installing surface intakes, installing water control structures, seeding and shallow water excavation to restore shallow water areas. Equipment such as dozers, or excavators, scrapers, backhoes and low ground pressure dozers will be used to construct the planned wetland restoration practices. Range of Cost for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 58 days after receipt of notice to proceed.
