This Request for Proposal is for trail reconstruction and relocation. The project will consist of design/staking, clearing and grubbing, excavating and embank, existing trail restoration, construction of switchbacks, water bars and rock retaining wall. The proposed contract is located at Whiskey Mountain Trail #804, Wind River Ranger District, Shoshone National Forest, Fremont County, Wyoming. Project is approximately 5 miles east of Dubois to Forest Road #411. Travel about 9 miles on Forest Road #411 to the trailhead. The performance period for the proposed contract is 200 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The anticipated date for posting of the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov) is on or around June 30, 2004.
