PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of: Construction of one (1) - 16 inch diameter irrigation type water well from ground surface to a depth of approximately 130 feet deep. Work includes: drilling well, the installation of a 16" O.D. casing and well screen, and grouting, well development and test pumping, installation of one (1) - 3000 GPM vertical turbine well pump and right angle gear drive; installation of pump drop pipe, providing a minimum of 100 HP diesel power unit and accessories capable of driving right angle gear drive and well pump efficiently ; providing and installing distribution pipe, providing trailers for motor and fuel tank appurtenant work to make a fully functional unit. Also, incorporated is the abandonment of one (1) - 10" diameter 100 foot deep water well including removal and disposal of pump, and piping, and grouting and cutting the casings 3' below the established ground surface. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns.
