AUTHORITY FOR SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION: FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Authorized or required by statute. JUSTIFICATION 38 U.S.C. 8127 provides authority to the Department of Veterans Affairs to engage in sole source acquisitions with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Per FAR 5.202(a)(4), a synopsis is not required. Dakota Latitudes LLC is listed online at vetbiz.gov; no additional market research was conducted. Dakota Latitudes is an experienced healthcare facility construction contractor with the experience, equipment, and personnel to satisfactorily accomplish this project in a timely and cost effective manner. Dakota Latitudes has a long history of excellent performance at the Fargo VAMC, North Dakota. They consistently provide proposals that are competitive with the Government Estimate. APPROVAL This procurement action is necessary and I certify that this justification is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.
