SYNOPSIS: The Greater Los Angeles VAMC Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90073, has a requirement to improve steam distribution system, Building 256. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract award is anticipated. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, parts, tools, supervision, and construction services necessary in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations / standards to execute improve steam distribution system per contract drawings and specifications. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 USD. The Period of Performance for this project will be 275 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million.
