The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, and any other resource neccessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to removing 1.1 miles of existing 230kV approach spans and lattice steel towers; installing four new 345kV lattice steel towers; furnishing and installing three, two-conductor bundle 1,272,000 circular mil, ACSR 45/7 conductors and two 1/2 inch diameter, high strength steel overhead ground wire. This solicitation is issued as full and open competition and will issued electronically on or about July 29, 2003, at the following site: http://e-center.doe.gov/. The estimated order of magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Interested Bidders must e-mail or fax the Contract Specialist to request the specifications and applicable drawings.
