Scope of Work SEALCOAT AND RESTRIPE ROADS AND PARKING LOTS MAIN BASE Project # WEAS049101 -Seal coat and re-stripe all asphalt surfaces at the Kentucky Air National Guard. 1101 Grade Lane Louisville, KY, 40213. 1. Area's to be considered will be all asphalt surfaces, Roads and Parking Lots on the Main Base 2. Asphalt seal coat product must be petroleum resistant, applied to manufactures specification and approved by Engineering personnel 3. Except for areas to be indicated at site visit/pre-bid meetin g, all paint lay for base roads and parking will be duplicated 4. Paint will be waterborne technology and will dry in, and accept traffic within two minutes of application 5. N l color schemes will duplicate existing 6. All parking lines will be straight a nd neat. All radius lines will be smooth and neat. N I edges of Lines will be neat and crisp. 7. Paint will meet Federal Specification 1952D and will have been certified by the Kentucky Department of Transportation. Only certified batch numbers will be acc epted and should be provided during pre-construction meeting. All paint supplied shall have the original manufacture label intact. 8. Before painting will begin contractor will ensure that area to be painted is free and clean of dirt, oil, or any substance that will prohibit the new paint from adhering. 8. Contractor must provide coordination and time phase plan for closing roads and parking lots. Engineering, Fire, Safety, and Security Personnel must approve plan.
