This is a Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notice. The final solicitation package will follow. This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region 9, has a requirement for construction services for a contractor to provide two (2) new residential housing units at Makah National Fish Hatchery, Neah Bay, WA (Clallam County). The ranch style homes shall be modular (garage may be traditional ¿site built/stick built¿) construction. Each residence shall provide a maximum of 2200 SF, if all options are exercised. Contractor shall comply with Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) for the Makah Tribe for work supporting this project. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and Award will be based on Best Value. The NAICS code is 236220 ¿ Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $39.5 million. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 for each housing unit. Overall project magnitude for both housing units is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 365 days.
