The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances, incidentals and other items and effort required for the replacement of the Grenada Dam downstream face drainage pipes, including drop inlets and outlets, as shown or described in the plans and specifications. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization; layout, site grading, backfill, and excavation; bedding material; removal and disposal of existing piping, concrete drop inlets and aprons; placing and compacting foundation and drainage materials; installing underdrain; furnishing, placing, jointing, and finishing concrete paved ditch and headwalls; installing new plastic drain pipe, drain inlets with frames and concrete apron, connections of inlets and outlets; demolition; control of water; erosion control matting, solid sodding, fertilizing, and environmental protection; disposal of debris offsite in a Contractor-furnished disposal area; appurtenant items; and all work incidental thereto. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
