The U. S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns only. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $2,500,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 233320 and the small business size standard is $28.5 Million. The acquisition is to Replace Station Manistee at the U. S. Coast Guard Station, Manistee, Michigan. The scope of the project includes constructing a 14,000 (approximate) square foot multi-mission station, temporary facilities, travel lift for a 47 foot long Coast Guard motor life boat and a mooring basin for Coast Guard boats. At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures.
