This is an invitation for bid for a competitive firm fixed price contract for Replace Hydrant Fuel System, Lajes Field, Azores. The work includes the replacement of the hydrant fueling system and incidental related work. Related work for this project includes the installation of two JP-8 storage tanks, the addition of a second Type III fueling system to the existing pumphouse, installation of nine new hydrant pits, installation of two new truck fillstands plus a pantograph check-out stand, and the demolition of the existing Area 7 fueling facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation required to perform all of the services described in the specifications for the contract. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is January 25, 2005. The estimated price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This project is unrestricted.
